Virgin Carpet No Longer

Jim is off playing chess. I do adore this alone time, so precious.

Yesterday, known as Black Wednesday, we treated our OFH neighbors to ARTISAN pizza. Because we are elite and because that joint was less than expensive than the Joe-Schmoe pizzeria. The temporary respite was enjoyed by all.

Some may know our Casita Nueva features wall-to-wall ivory carpeting (not my idea). Jim and I long have joked about the need to throw a glass of red wine on it so as to end the suspense. Mission accomplished!
