Our patio is being renovated starting Wednesday, a fairly major production. Of course, dearest friends are coming over for lunch Thursday.
I'm trying to nail down an expedition to Hawaii with friends next July and the amount of paperwork and bureaucracy involved is un poco aggravating. Not even including the air portion. Yes, indeed I am fortunate to have such issues.
Street construction work (new sewer line) ongoing directly outside our apartment. Second week of same; to continue through the first week of the new year. The cacophony is gobsmacking. And getting out of and back into the garage is interesting.
Most worrisome: Jim's manifest symptoms increase, e.g., inability to remember where his clothes are, he's beginning to awaken at night and that scares the hell out of me, he no longer responds to long-traditional prompts. Then, too, he is nursing a slew of hostile (but not aggressive) delusions having to do with medical care which is a salient element in our regimen.
And, I'm getting frazzled.
On the good news front, we had a sweet, calm and delectable four days in Big Sur last week.
