I’m trying to get the Old Farts Home to set up a Little Free Library on our sidewalk. Almost everything I try to do here is subject to objection by management and/or residents. But, hey, I’m a steamroller baby and I can do this!
Jim and I had a Little Free Library curbside at our Casa Fuchsia in Menlo Park. Not surprising I have been thinking of it. We were an early adopter so got some local press. Our version was basic — no twee, no bells, no whistles, no hoopla. But, we did have “The Attic” — a shelf atop the book box. Jim carted it out every morning, then retrieved in the evening or when it rained.
