Hola mi amor, I’m planning a return to Panama in February, with Nancy in tow. Last I was there was with you in 1973. I remember listening to the Watergate hearings over AFRTS (Armed Forces Radio and Television Service). We had such a great trip, Watergate notwithstanding.
First, a cruise through the Panama Canal, Atlantic to Pacific. Then up the west coast of Panama and Costa Rica. Fly back to Panama (Tocumen) from CR for two weeks exploring old haunts: Boquete, David, El Volcan, El Valle, Santa Clara, Taboga, San Lorenzo, the railroad, Chiva Chiva trail, the pipeline, Gamboa waterhole … And, 878 Morgan Avenue in Balboa even though it’s not there anymore.
