Querido, Remember we used to hike/walk at Thornewood in Woodside? Long trail down the side of the ridge to a pond/marsh (depending on season)? A mountain lion cub was rescued there yesterday — starving, covered in fleas and ticks. She’s been named Rose and is under veterinary care at the Oakland Zoo. Mountain lions are becoming common in the environs we used to hike.
