It occurs to me that, in my zeal to make Jim's life with dementia better, I may be overdoing it. I'm trying to back off so he can do more things for himself even if it takes longer and sometimes doesn't turn out well. As I do more for him, he loses skill sets (e.g., making tea, coffee).
This can be difficult but I am resolved. May include some patient coaching on my part and I think we all know patience is not counted in my long suits.
