Working up to Thanksgiving

We're in Inverness on Point Reyes for Thanksgiving with dear friends. There are eight of us. It feels so GOOD! 

Ciopinno for dinner with fresh Dungeness crab, scallops, clams, shrimp, cod; oh, so mighty tasty! Thanks to Deborah and Bruce. Plus, Pete's fabulous garlic bread.

This gathering comprises close friends over many years. But Jim doesn't quite remember who they are. But they know him and hold him close. And that makes all the difference. Plus, gives me a bit of space.

Then, there is Deborah's music to which Jim is so attuned and the rest of us adore.
