Dear Big Sur, with love

Ensconced in Big Sur, beautiful day and lovely drive down from Palo Alto. Easy packing and on-time departure. Did not engage in the left-lane Autobahn on 17 from Los Gatos to Santa Cruz. Room at Ventana not ready at 4pm but a good Pinot Noir put that right. Hot tub on the deck as well as hammock plus macrame over the bed -- what more could one crave in Big Sur. So far Jim is enjoying himself as am I.
