Illumination is not what it used to be

Let's talk about that which lightens the load.

-- art in the apartment
-- Bach, Prokofiev, Gorecki, Tavener, Beethoven, Satie, Bach again
-- garden shadows
-- friends in moderation
-- summer afternoons outside in the shade
-- soft breezes
-- when the phone call is just spam
Good to keep track of this stuff.

On the other hand, Jim decided there is insufficient light in our apartment so has removed five lamp shades and ripped out the covers of three of the kitchen lights.
